Okay, one of the major league players in the one-in-all staples is the highly chic and amazingly stylish jumpsuit. So it should come by absolutely no surprise when I tell you how excited I was when I got my beautiful jumpsuit from the amazing designer Mounay at Modacorner. However, while most of you might just think that this particular item is rather hard to fully get a grasp around, with my help, you will soon discover that it is actually one of the coolest and most comfy piece in your wardrobe.

  1. STYLE IT UP WITH A CHIC – OVER LAYER

There is no better way to add personality to your outfits than adding a classic coat for those cold winter evenings, an upbeat blazer for work or even just a denim jacket for a casual day out. Sure, your jumpsuit will look absolutely amazing just by itself, but if you really want to make your outfit stand out from the crowd, don’t be afraid to add a little dimension to this one-pieced outfit.

If you are still new to the ways of the jumpsuit, adding an outerwear item will definitely help boost up your confidence than if you lack it. This is simply because with a coat, blazer or jacket over the top, it will really help break up the look, making the stand-out style of the jumpsuit that little bit more subtle.

Be sure that you take the time to carefully look for color tones that either resonates the hues of your jumpsuit or compliments the style. For example, if you decide to wear a classic black jumpsuit, why don’t you find a contrasting white blazer to make that look extra polished and glam? Or if you opt for a cute leopard print jumpsuit, maybe a solid colored coat is the way to go. Simply take care that the two pieces match each other well.

  1. THE ULTIMATE CLASSIC – BACK TO BLACK (AND OTHER SOLIDS)

Nowadays, the shelves and aisles are full of jumpsuits in a never-ending array of styles, patterns and fabrics. If you are relatively new to the world of these highly chic one-pieces, why don’t you ease into the trend by opting for a classic piece? So instead of opting for a jumpsuit that is overly bold with neon patterns or animal stripes, why don’t you try to find one mono-colored piece that sincerely flatters your body type and helps you keep building up your jumpsuit-wearing confidence?

Don’t feel like you are heavily restricted if you choose to go mono-hued because there is still such as range to choose from. For example, if you are feeling a little bit like a daredevil, you can always wear a solid burgundy, navy, turquoise, rose pink or olive green jumpsuit. However the classic black or white is always an extremely chic and flattering way to go.

Finally, since your jumpsuit is simple yet stylish, you have plenty of room to experiment with gorgeous accessories. It is all within your realm to either play it up or tone it down. Really, the world is your oyster!

  1. THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT

It is a general rule of thumb for jumpsuits to be longer along the legs in order to accompany the varying heights in the population. So, in order for you to really flatter yourself and give yourself that highly demanded, long, elegant and lean appearance, choose a pant length that just brushes against your ankles.

For those of you who are petite, opt for some stylish heels to avoid tripping over the bottom of your pant leg and allow you to create the illusion of being model height. Then for those of you who are naturally tall, unless you want to be like a willowing tree and tower over everyone else (which is totally okay), then perhaps you would like to opt for some classic flats of sandals to give you that perfectly chic look.
